How does offline activation work?+
The workflow follows six clear steps: install LynxPDF, generate the device code, submit the device code, receive the license file, import the license file, and complete activation.
Can authorization files be misused?+
No. All devices share the same .lic file — the difference is in the matching. Submit a device code to register the device. Upon activation, LynxPDF decodes the file and checks it against registered devices. The .lic file will only work for a successfully matched device; it will not activate any unregistered one.
Are features limited in offline mode?+
Offline mode does not mean reduced capability. LynxPDF still supports editing, conversion, signing, encryption, and OCR offline. The exact feature set depends on the licensed plan.
